Information Technology System Manager Required in Dubai

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage IT Infrastructure and Security to maximize uptime and protection of data.
To set up the backup plans as well as to restore the data once data loss happened according to IT Director instructions.
Manage IT team to maintain the IT infrastructure components (Servers, Firewall, Routers, Switches, Data centers, Data backups).
Manage network and endpoint monitoring, plan resources for high availability of IT infrastructure and data.
Evaluating user needs and system functionality and ensuring that ICT facilities meet these needs.
Scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems.
Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity and efficiency by using data provided by the service desk.
Guaranteeing the smooth running of all ICT, systems, including anti-virus software firewall, print services, and email provision.
Setup the Recovery Action Plan describing how to perform the system recovery activities in detail.
Ensure that all Operating Systems and Applications software are patched as per the policy.
Make systems unavailable for performing upgrades, maintenance, or enhancement.
Set up the systems and networks access rights of the user according to the approval.
Providing secure access to the network for remote users.
Securing data from internal and external attacks.
Offering users appropriate support and advice.
Managing crises, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems.
Skills and experience required:

Experience with administration of OS, core infrastructure hardware, (O365, Active Directory, and other Windows-based systems), enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring
Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing solutions
Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMWare
Ability to deploy and monitor services on production servers
Experience in design and administration of all IT infrastructure components ( Operating systems, physical and virtual servers, storage and backups, disaster recovery, cloud infrastructure, firewall, and security components).
Experience with the data center, storage area, networks, WAN acceleration, virtualization, routers, and more.
Strong knowledge of database systems, SharePoint, Windows, Office365 with some programming skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills

Certification:

Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or have related certifications.
