Document Control Clerk - Dubai

Barking Hound Village is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Document Control Clerk to join their team in a hybrid capacity, with the flexibility to work remotely while also engaging in on-site responsibilities. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that all facility documentation—ranging from client records and pet health files to operational and compliance documents—is maintained accurately, organized efficiently, and readily accessible.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage, update, and archive both physical and digital documentation, including vaccination records, service logs, and SOPs, ensuring access whether working onsite or remotely
• Oversee document version control, including labeling, tracking changes, and obtaining necessary approvals
• Coordinate with various departments (front desk, grooming, kennel) to collect, reconcile, and file all necessary records using in-house and remote systems
• Conduct regular audits, clean-up sessions, and backups to ensure complete and accurate data across all platforms
• Assist in transitioning paper files to a fully digitized system, creating a structured and user-friendly digital repository for team-wide access
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent (certifications in records management or office administration are advantageous)
• 1–2 years of experience in document management, preferably in healthcare, animal care, or other regulated industries
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel), along with familiarity in document control systems and digital filing tools
• Excellent communication abilities and the capability to work collaboratively across remote and on-site teams
• Basic understanding of confidentiality and compliance protocols, especially when handling sensitive client or pet data
