System Administrator Required in Dubai

Duties and Responsibilities

· Leads in planning and implementing changes to infrastructure with the goal of enhancing performance.

· Performs complex storage and server installation, Configuration, data backup, data migration and disaster recovery operations.

· Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies

· Performs complex software and operating system upgrades and track system licensing.

· Configures security settings or access permissions for groups and individuals.

· Documents complex procedures and troubleshooting procedures related to systems/networks software and hardware.

· Leads the configuration and maintenance of office and/or production software, adjunct support and/or utility software, i.e. Virus malware protection, office application suites and/or application software.

· Works and liaise with business applications, vendors, consultants, contractors, and IT personnel from other organization, Divisions, and Departments for the implementation of new solution or for problem solving.

· Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

· Manage, Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes

· Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

· Participate in the design of information and operational support systems

· Provide 2nd and 3rd level support

· Participate in security management

Budget Range AED 4K-5K based on experience

Qualification and Requirements

. Minimum 3 years experience

· B.E./ B.SC. /M.C.A/M.Sc Computer Engineering/Science

· Hands on skills on Microsoft Servers, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, Microsoft 365, Server security

· Solid Cloud experience, preferably in MS AZURE & AWS

· Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux based environments.

· Hand on experience in Installing and configuring Blade, and hyper Converged Server infrastructure

· Hand on experience in Patching and Patching software for servers and clients.

· Hand on experience in Enterprise End point protection system for servers and clients

· Knowledge and experience of Load Balancers, MS SQL, Identity Management System, Email Archiving.

· Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g. Tomcat, JBoss, Apache)

· Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V and Virtual Box)

· Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Power shell)

· Knowledge of Security Best Practices and ISO 27001 Compliance

· VMware and Microsoft Certifications

· ITIL foundation certified

· Knowledge of IT processes like Incident, Problem and Change Management

· Good oral and written communications skills.

· Fluency in English.

· Independently handling of projects

· Ability to adapt organization requirements, demands and innovation.

· Being proactive with problem solving skills.

· Ticketing System: Ivanti Service desk, Fresh Service, Service-Now, Remedy.
