Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theatre, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Steward - Catering & Banquets to join the Kitchen Stewards team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Clean and store crockery, pots, and glassware accordingly.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas, including ovens, stovetops, floors, and ceilings.
Use, handle, and store cleaning chemicals correctly.
Remove and dispose of kitchen garbage.
Perform duties assigned by the Steward Team Leader and Supervisor.
Interact professionally and positively with department and company employees, management, and contractors.
Attend departmental and interdepartmental meetings and share relevant information.
Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communication.
Adhere to company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct.
Remain well-mannered, well-groomed, and hygienic at all times, in accordance with department and company standards.
Follow health and safety standards and strive for continuous improvement to prevent health and injury hazards.
Participate in the company recycling program and maintain strict discipline to reduce, reuse, and recycle wherever possible.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

The minimum educational qualification required is completion of secondary school; higher academic credentials are considered an asset.
No prior experience required; however, a minimum of 1 year of experience in the 5-star hotel industry or integrated resort is preferred.
Knowledge of the correct use, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Physically fit and capable of cleaning high areas, large equipment, and heavy lifting.
Good interpersonal skills.
Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment.
Flexible with work schedules and able to work in shifts based on business needs.
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
