Senior Big Data Developer Required in Dubai

Job Location: Dubai, UAE.

Salary: AED 14,000 to 15,000

Summary:

7+ years of experience with minimum 3+ years of Experience with Big data products - Cloudera/MapR/Hortonworks.
Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala.
Experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
Experience with Big Data ML toolkits, such as Mahout, SparkML, or H2O
Hands on experience in Management of Hadoop cluster with all included services.
Selecting and integrating any Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities.
Implementing ETL process.
Proficiency with Hadoop v2, MapReduce, HDFS
Implementation including loading from disparate data sets, preprocessing using Hive and Pig.
Scope and deliver various Big Data solutions.
Ability to design solutions independently based on high-level architecture.
Manage the technical communication between the survey vendor and internal systems
Maintain the production systems (Kafka, Hadoop, Cassandra, Elasticsearch)
Collaborate with other development and research teams
Experience with building stream-processing systems, using solutions such as Storm or Spark-Streaming.
Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB.
Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources.
Management of Hadoop cluster, with all included services.
Visualize data and information for business customers through the creation of reports and queries using Microsofts technology stack.
Create Power BI reports based on business requirements with linked content, drilldowns, and nested parameters.
Leverage MS BI tools to answer questions, solve problems, and create reporting solutions.
Communicate effectively with both business, technical stakeholders as well as leadership
Ability to work in an Agile environment

Minimum Requirements

3+ years of experience in Spark, HBase, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, Flume, Java, Pig, Python etc.
Development experience in Hadoop
Experience in any one of ecosystem components like Hadoop Cloudera /HortonWorks / MapR
Experience in No SQL databases like HBase, Mongo, Cassandra etc.
Experience working in distributed systems, large scale non-relational data stores, map-reduce systems, performance tuning and multi-terabyte Data warehouses

Preferred Skills

Relevant Big Data certification preferred.
