Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Sales Account Manager to take ownership of our client relationships and project delivery outcomes. This is a dual-focused role: you will drive new business development while also serving as the primary point of accountability for the successful delivery of ongoing projects. You will act as the bridge between our clients and internal delivery teams — ensuring projects stay on track, clients remain engaged, and every engagement creates opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate combines strong sales and relationship management skills with hands-on project oversight experience, a solid understanding of IT services and SaaS business models, and practical knowledge of system integration environments.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Delivery Oversight
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building trusted, long-term relationships with key stakeholders including CIOs, IT Directors, and project sponsors.
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of active integration and IT projects, ensuring milestones, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
Conduct regular project reviews and status meetings with clients, proactively identifying and resolving risks, issues, and scope changes.
Coordinate closely with technical and delivery teams to align project execution with client expectations and contractual commitments.
Drive client satisfaction and retention by ensuring seamless service delivery and acting as an escalation point for any delivery concerns.
Monitor project health across accounts and provide regular status reporting and forecasting to leadership.
Ensure smooth onboarding and transition of new projects from the sales phase into active delivery.
Sales & Business Development
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts for additional integration services, licensing, support contracts, and managed services.
Develop and execute strategic account plans targeting healthcare organizations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the broader GCC region.
Manage the sales lifecycle including lead qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to craft compelling proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution presentations.
Track and manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools, providing accurate forecasting and regular progress reporting.
Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments (e.g., NABIDH, NPHIES, FHIR mandates) to position Digitiza’s offerings effectively.
Represent Digitiza at industry events, conferences, and trade shows across the region.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience in system integration projects — including integration engines, middleware platforms, APIs, ESBs, and data exchange solutions — is a significant advantage.
Experience with healthcare IT solutions such as EMR/EHR systems, health information exchange platforms, or clinical data repositories.
Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and regulatory frameworks in the GCC.
Prior experience working with government health authorities or large hospital networks in the Middle East.
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
5–10 years of proven experience in account management, B2B sales, or client relationship management within IT services, system integration, or technology consulting.
Strong understanding of IT services business models including professional services, software licensing, SaaS, and managed services.
Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage the delivery of IT projects, coordinating across technical teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.
Solid project management skills with experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
Good knowledge of the GCC market dynamics and government procurement processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English. Arabic proficiency is a strong plus.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Odoo) and standard productivity tools.
