Safety Officer - Dubai

South West Mining LLC - SPC is currently seeking a Safety Officer to join their team in Fujairah, UAE. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations at their gabbro stone mining and crushing site. This position is ideal for individuals with strong knowledge of occupational safety protocols and hands-on experience in accident prevention, risk assessment, and workplace safety training.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Monitor and enforce workplace health and safety procedures
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Lead accident investigations and prepare detailed incident reports
• Implement safety training programs for staff and contractors
• Ensure adherence to local and international health and safety regulations
• Maintain safety documentation and assist in compliance reporting
• Coordinate emergency response drills and security procedures
Preferred Candidate Profile:
• Proven background in occupational health and safety, preferably in the mining or heavy industrial sectors
• In-depth understanding of safety standards, risk mitigation, and emergency protocols
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to handle on-site challenges in high-risk environments
• Prior experience in the mining industry is highly desirable
