Jr System Support Engineer Required in Dubai

We are looking to hire an ambitious Junior System Support Engineer to join our IT team.

Focus for role

Supporting users’ desktop related systems and applications including the performance, functionality, security and resources availability; meeting or exceeding business requirements, internal standards, and maintaining flowless IT operations within his sphere.

Responsibilities

Installing and configuring end-user's computer systems.
Logging, and responding to client IT support requests from end users of DRE and its group of companies.
Meeting with end users to diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues.
Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
Tracking and managing work records.
Escalate issues to vendors and/or internally as appropriate
Researching solutions for new and frequent issues that occur in the typical office and project site environment. Tests software and hardware to evaluate ease of use and suitability to the users and environment.
Trains users on standard applications usage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science.

Certifications in Network, Firewall, Cloud is a plus

Experience and Traits:

Proven work experience as an IT support engineer with a minimum of 1-2 years.
Knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking systems.
Experience in handling enterprise-wide firewall systems like Fortinet.
Experience in working with PABX Systems is a plus.
Good time management skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Good research skills.
Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
Ability to learn
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Language:

English; Arabic is a plus
