About the role

Bloom Holding is seeking a dynamic, talented, and tech-savvy IT Manager who has a strong drive to deliver results and possess excellent IT and project management skills to join our established and growing team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

You will be responsible work closely with IT Security, Infrastructure and Operation teams to plan, coordinate and supervise all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of information systems and software application at Bloom. The IT Manager will also be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing systems and applications.

Some specific responsibilities for this position:

Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify potential gaps and pain points. Support the IT Director to shape & influence demand, prioritize projects and make appropriate recommendations.
Ensure that identified solutions/ applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfil end-user requirements, and resolve systems issues.
Manage the development and deployment of infrastructure and applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.
Ensure that all technical project requirements are captured, prioritized, and delivered to the correct standards and quality with the required rigor and visibility by the project team.
Identify, manage, and mitigate issues, risk and dependencies that may impact the delivery of technical projects.
Establish, manage & oversee the helpdesk activities/services & eliminate project barriers to ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with the allocated budget.
Review and analyse existing applications effectives and efficiency and support the IT Director to develop strategies to significantly improve operational efficiencies by leveraging these systems.
Develop and disseminate knowledge of infrastructure management practices.
Measure the effectiveness of implementing solutions against a set of KPIs to ensure desired results are achieved.

Requisite Qualification, Education, and experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent with 10 -12 years of comprehensive work experience in IT Infrastructure/Service Support. You are required to have led successful implementation of end-to-end IT projects and delivery. Led discovery sessions and scoping exercise for large or complex project proposals. Analyze documentation and technical specification of any new application under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality. Excellent project management skills and significant exposure to change management functionality.
