Information Technology Support Engineer Required in Dubai

The IT Application Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining all IT Applications in optimum condition, ensuring that the system is up to date in terms of functionality (in line with the Business requirements), controls, data, and usage (with the users trained on a regular basis). To support end users on all IT Applications ensuring they are constantly aware of new functionalities and efficient usage of the system.

Job Duties & Responsibilities - 1. Work in strict compliance with the Group Corporate IT Policies & Procedures. 2. Work with highly confidential information/data in a very restricted appropriate manner is mandatory. 3. Install, maintain & support all IT Systems & Applications (POS/ERP/HRIS/Time & Attendance) with Vendor assistance. 4. Install, maintain & support Employee related IT Assets such as computer hardware and software and mobile phones/tablets. 5. Setup & support accessories such as printers/scanners/AV systems/Access Control & CCTV systems and other IT peripherals. 6. Maintain & support all IT Systems & Applications with Vendor assistance. 7. Monitor and manage daily Data Backups. 8. Handle the complete IT Help Desk & Support system efficiently including IT Support requests/Asset Mgmt./Change Mgmt./Software deployment and Patching/Documentation/Filing/Training for Staff (on optimal IT system usage) and reporting to IT Mgmt. 9. Be part of the Scope Investment Group IT Team in implementing Projects & providing Support. 10. Keep up to date with new Technology.
