Information Technology Operations Lead Required in Dubai

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day technology operations across the organization, ensuring the stability, security and continuous improvement of our IT environment.

You will provide operational leadership across infrastructure, business applications, software development, technology vendors and IT projects, while working closely with business stakeholders to ensure technology supports operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations

Oversee the day-to-day operation of the company's IT infrastructure and business systems.
Ensure high system availability, performance and operational stability.
Lead incident resolution and root cause analysis.
Drive preventative maintenance and continuous operational improvements.
Infrastructure & Cloud

Manage servers, virtualization platforms, Microsoft 365 and cloud environments.
Oversee networking, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN and security infrastructure.
Ensure backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes are maintained.
Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity planning.
Software Development & Business Applications

Oversee the day-to-day activities of the internal software development team and external development partners.
Coordinate development priorities, bug fixes and feature requests with business stakeholders and the Head of IT.
Ensure development follows SDLC, change management and documentation standards.
Coordinate testing, releases and deployment activities.
Support the continuous improvement of internally developed applications and business systems.
Act as the operational bridge between business users, developers and vendors.
Vendor & Service Management

Manage relationships with technology vendors and support partners.
Monitor SLAs, service delivery and vendor performance.
Coordinate escalations and ensure timely issue resolution.
Support procurement and lifecycle management of IT assets.
Projects

Coordinate the delivery of infrastructure and business application projects.
Track milestones, risks and project progress.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
Maintain project documentation and reporting.
Security & Governance

Support cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with IT policies.
Maintain system documentation, asset registers and operational procedures.
Support audits, vulnerability remediation and security best practices.

What We're Looking For

5–7 years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure or Enterprise IT environments.
Experience coordinating or leading technical teams across infrastructure and software development.
Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and release management.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, networking, virtualization and cloud platforms.
Experience supporting enterprise business applications.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
Experience managing technology vendors and third-party service providers.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
