Information Technology Administrator Required in Dubai

MidChains is looking for a Corporate IT Administrator to help architect and build new features, as well as scaling the gateway to digital assets. We are a high-performing team looking for an equally ambitious and driven teammate.

Task and responsibilities

Supporting users with Windows and Office 365 applications
Procure, install and maintain user laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
Support the Azure cloud environment.
Manage and support all user VDI’s
Ensuring federated access across Active Directory and Azure AD and maintenance of the same.
Troubleshooting and resolving Azure environment performance issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

Must be structured and organized in the approach to issues and tasks.
Strong experience in implementing, monitoring and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to Virtual machines, Storage, Network and Security.
Strong knowledge of Backup, Restore, Recovery and high availability strategies for Microsoft Azure environments.
Strong knowledge of IaaS and PaaS services.
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving Azure environment performance issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc.
Experience with Python is a plus.
Strong understanding and background of working with a complex Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP and the requirement of strictly following standards, procedures, and processes.
Knowledge of DNS, DHCP and Windows Authentication.
Knowledge of network protocols such as: DNS, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, SFTP
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Working knowledge of VPN connectivity and client troubleshooting.
Excellent PowerShell skills
Experience with Azure AD, Active Directory including managing/maintaining GPOs
Proven ability to work across different functions and being able to adjust communication according to intended audience
A humble get-it-done mindset! You’re resourceful and in your element going from 0 to 1
Excellent problem-solving skills - can troubleshoot complex systems
Comfort with ambiguity; the ability to independently layout and test clear hypotheses and solve problems without well-defined direction

Experience

3 years or more of experience in applications and functions in the Azure Cloud as well as Office 365.
3-5 years of supporting users with their technical issues.
Experience using Jira Service desk is a plus.
