The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and proactive individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. The Business Development Specialist will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close deals while maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Responsibilities:
Identify and research potential clients across GCC, especially in the UAE, Oman, KSA, and Qatar.
To have a database and network across GCC and Africa (A big plus).
Identify new localization, translation, and subtitling opportunities.
To increase B2B and B2C sales by generating leads via networking and client visits to meet the company's Business and growth plans.
Develop a strong sales pipeline for residential, commercial, and office projects to increase revenue and market share through outdoor business activities.
To develop a strong sales pipeline and create new revenue streams.
To create presentations and coordinate with the marketing department for company profiles and portfolios. Should be capable of putting sales presentations together in a way that can excite clients.
Search potential customers to generate new business via networking cold calling focusing on residential projects, especially Villa projects, B2B.
To visit construction sites to find leads and network with real estate developers, interior design offices, and consultant offices to create leads.
To monitor the company's industry competitor's new products and market conditions to understand customer preferences.
When required, liaise with the retail and interior design teams throughout the process to make sure all client requirements are met.
To create and maintain a database of current and prospective clients.
To manage the tenders and proposals for new business opportunities.
To understand client needs, offer solutions and support, answer potential client questions, follow-up call questions, and respond on time to client requests for proposals.
To analyze historical and current financial data to determine ways to cut costs and increase revenue.
Should be knowledgeable of how the fit-out, interior design, playground, furniture, flooring, and lighting industry operates, from receiving a brief to the final execution.
Should be driven and easily find a way with the internal team to meet the required deliverables and get all support needed to land a business.
To work with minimum direction and find solutions to obstacles and challenges.
A self-motivated, proactive, and multitasker while maintaining the quality of service and delivery.
Requirements:
Fluent in English (written and verbal skills), Arabic language is a plus.
Minimum five (5) years in the market and expertise in Furniture, Fitout, Interior Design, Playground, Flooring, and Lighting.
At least five (5) years of demonstrated sales experience in a "hunting" environment. Sales life cycle experience from lead generation through closing and proven track record in achieving sales targets.
Strong background in cold/warm calling, industry networking, and referral marketing.
Should have good knowledge of Exhibitions and fit-out industry, aware of the process, and expert in Business development skills.
Must have proven UAE experience in project sales and business development within interior design, joinery, or furniture supply organization.
Must have experience in a high-revenue client acquisition role in the UAE.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with practical negotiation skills.
Outgoing personality with excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, and attention to detail.
Familiarity with the CRM and other software, latest trends, technologies, and methodologies.
Candidates who can join immediately will be prioritized.
The candidate must have a valid Driving License with their own car.
