Accounting Lead - Dubai

We’re Hiring: Accounting Lead (Virtual/Remote)
InductiveHealth — a mission-driven, virtual-first SaaS company focused on public health surveillance — is looking for an experienced Accounting Lead to own core accounting operations while also rolling up their sleeves to perform day-to-day accounting work. You’ll report to the Director of Finance and balance hands-on execution with coaching and oversight of junior staff, in a fast-growing, private-equity backed environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Perform and supervise daily accounting activities including GL reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage full-cycle AR and AP workflows, prioritise cashflow tasks, and sustain vendor/customer relationships.
• Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and lead month-end and year-end close processes while completing critical close tasks personally.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606 — review contracts, identify performance obligations, and post related entries.
• Coordinate with external auditors: prepare support documentation, respond to queries, and follow up on audit items.
• Contribute to financial policies, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with Finance leadership.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to junior accounting staff and work alongside them to meet deadlines.
What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a senior/lead role.
• Demonstrable SaaS industry experience; private-equity backed company experience is a plus.
• Strong mastery of US GAAP and practical experience applying it daily.
• Hands-on experience across AR and AP and comfortable owning transactional work.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (NetSuite highly preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines.
