Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Heavy Truck Driver, based in the United Arab Emirates. The Heavy Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies. The role involves regular vehicle inspection and maintenance, loading and unloading cargo, logging driving hours, and communicating effectively with dispatchers and customers.

Qualifications

Strong driving skills with a valid heavy vehicle driving license
Knowledge of road safety regulations and maintenance practices for heavy trucks
Experience in loading, unloading, and securing cargo safely
Proficient communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with dispatchers and clients
Ability to maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery details
Familiarity with routes and geographical areas within the United Arab Emirates
Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary
Previous experience in a similar role or logistics-related industry is a plus
