Travel Counselor - Dubai

Collabera is currently seeking a highly skilled and service-oriented Travel Counselor to support one of our major clients in the banking and finance industry. This is a remote position with an initial duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion depending on performance.
In this role, you will:
• Assist and organize travel for corporate clients, both for individual employees and group arrangements.
• Conduct research and analysis on various travel options while anticipating traveler needs to suggest and sell additional travel services.
• Coordinate and book both domestic and international business travel across all major transportation and accommodation types, including air, rail, road, and hotel reservations.
• Utilize Global Distribution Systems, specifically Sabre, to manage travel arrangements.
• Receive refresher training on GDS systems if required.
• Ensure all travel bookings comply with client travel policies, service provider rules, and regulatory guidelines.
• Use effective and positive communication techniques over the phone and handle any special travel-related requests.
• Work closely with your team to share feedback, offer mentorship, and contribute to continuous improvement of service levels.
What We’re Looking For:
• A strong drive for delivering excellence in client service with a proactive attitude.
• Native GDS experience in Apollo – must have a minimum of 3 recent years working with Apollo.
• Candidates with international corporate travel experience are preferred.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Sharp attention to detail and a high standard of integrity, especially in handling personal travel information.
• A deep understanding of the travel industry, ideally with experience in business or leisure travel or airline reservations.
• Ability to independently solve travel-related issues or coordinate resolutions with suppliers.
• A team-oriented mindset and receptiveness to feedback.
