Role Description This is a part-time, hybrid Technical Support Representative role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work-from-home hours. The Technical Support Representative will respond to user inquiries, provide timely assistance through email, chat, and phone, and help resolve issues related to Silicon Mania’s digital platforms and services. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing technical problems, guiding users through troubleshooting steps, documenting support cases, and escalating complex issues to relevant teams as needed. The role also involves tracking recurring issues, contributing to support documentation and FAQs, and collaborating with product and content teams to improve the overall user experience. The successful candidate will maintain a professional, clear, and empathetic communication style while supporting diverse users in a fast-paced media environment.Qualifications
Strong Customer Support and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on clear communication and empathetic service.
Hands-on Technical Support and Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve issues across web and digital platforms.
Solid Analytical Skills to interpret user reports, identify patterns, and suggest improvements to systems and processes.
Comfort with ticketing or help desk tools, such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, or similar platforms.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities independently.
Basic understanding of common operating systems, browsers, and consumer tech devices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is an advantage.
Previous experience in technical or customer support roles is preferred, especially within media, tech, or digital services.
