Role Description The Systems Analyst will support and optimize the school’s information technology environment in a part-time, remote role. Daily tasks include analyzing systems and processes used for administrative and educational activities, identifying opportunities for improvement, and recommending technology solutions aligned with the school’s needs. The role involves collaborating with school leadership to understand requirements, documenting workflows, and translating organizational needs into clear technical specifications. The Systems Analyst will also perform basic troubleshooting, coordinate with external vendors or IT providers when needed, and contribute to the implementation and maintenance of secure, reliable systems that support staff, families, and overall school operations.Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Systems Analysis and Business Analysis skills to evaluate processes and define effective solutions.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, diagnose issues, and support decision-making.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Information Technology, including common software tools, networks, and security best practices.
Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to identify, prioritize, and resolve system and application problems remotely.
Relevant experience in educational or small-business environments is beneficial.
Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and document requirements and procedures effectively.
Strong organizational skills, reliability, and capacity to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.
Post-secondary education in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
