We at Marc Ellis are looking for a talented Social Media Designer with excellent attention to detail. They will be responsible for designing original content on all our social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & YouTube.

As a Social Media Designer at Marc Ellis, you will create high-quality graphic materials that will boost our brand image and help us build a loyal customer base. Along with that, you will be responsible to produce inspiring and entertaining video blogs for our site. You will be required to write, film, and produce short films that speak to our online audience hence, you should be comfortable recording yourself for our social media channels.

As a Social Media Designer, you need to be exceptionally creative and motivated. This position requires extensive marketing knowledge and comprehension of social media trends. You need to have great communication and organizational skills and be able to both come to decisions independently and work in a team environment.

Social Media Designer Responsibilities

Design creative graphic content for different social media channels
Develop fresh concepts based on company goals and current social media trends
Analyse design briefs and outline requirements
Present ideas and drafts to the team
Ensure that all the graphic elements are consistent in terms of style, colors, and message
Test graphic elements on different devices
Utilize Adobe Software skills to create engaging apps and build exceptional pages
Work with the marketing team to build a strong social media presence
Measure content key performance indicators and provide suggestions on what can be improved
Required Skills:

A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Design, Animation, Illustration, or related field.
Excellent communication and organizational skills in English
Proficiency in graphics editing softwares such as Adobe Photoshop, After-effects, Premiere-pro & Canva.
Basics of film-making and editing including trends.
Filming, editing, and producing video blogs.
Should be confident and comfortable with vlogging.
Exceptional creative skills.
Participate in meetings to get briefs or other necessary background to create designs.
Preferred Skills:

Create quick turnaround content.
Liaising company managers to discuss topics of interest for vlogs, blogs etc.
Brainstorming and Writing video blogs.
Uploading video blogs to the host site.
Participating in Vlogger interviews.
Can handle a very fast-paced environment with last-minute changes.
Arabic speakers or writers are preferred.
