Senior Risk Analyst Required in Dubai

An experienced Risk Analyst who has 3-5 UAE experience in various risk functions: Credit,

Fraud, and Operational Risk.

You have an eye for detail, a self-starter, and excellent time management skills. You will be part of a growing team, currently reporting to the Head of Risk.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist to identify risk across departments, systems and projects, and make recommendations to mitigate risk or improve control frameworks, document and share with stakeholders as part of Risk Register implementation
Support implementation of risk mitigation plans ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures
Ensure consistent and ongoing monitoring, and reporting of all risk areas in collaboration with risk owners
Provide support and training to stakeholders to build risk awareness within the Company
Ensure Reporting quality is intact and raise any concerns where needed.
Continued portfolio review and follow reporting frequency standards to all stakeholders to
ensure better market penetration and steady healthy growth
Keeping abreast of all possible alternative data to use for achievement of the same goals.
Prepare UAT scenarios for any risk related platform whether for onboarding or annual review.
Assist Risk Owners in documenting risks identified and ensure that all risks are properly
documented
Be first line for deviation approvals on B2B or B2C applications
Review updated operational risk registers and approved changes and amend strategic risk
registers accordingly

Skills and Experience:

3-5 years of background of risk management in a fintech/payments/Ecommerce company with hands-on experience in Operations, Fraud and Credit Risks. Financial institution background is also welcomed, while preference is for the prior.
Strong numerical and analytical skills. Comfortable with at least one coding language - Python is preferred.
Data Analytics Skills: Spotting trends and comfortable with data visualization (Power BI Tableu , Excel)
Strong communication skills. Able to understand & deliver requirements to and from all stakeholders.
Should be already based in the UAE.
