The Opportunity – Senior HR Specialist - UAE
Assist in the creation and implementation of strategies to further talent identification and development at the averda Group level.
Align processes, tools and measures to support talent management strategies.
Source, design, deliver and evaluate new programs and tools to support talent processes.
Manage budget, contracting and vendor relationships for services as appropriate.
Diagnose firm issues and translate data into insights and potential talent actions for averda.
Discover insights to help our leaders make better talent decisions and reinforce culture as it relates to selecting, evaluating, developing and aligning talent for future success.
Continue to evolve best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness of talent processes including: competency models, job analysis, assessments & selection, performance management, succession planning, engagement surveys, and workforce planning.
Manage talent actions and assure they follow development plans including job rotations, and other development experiences.
Partner with HR business Partners to advise, influence and encourage best practice usage of talent management programs and processes and assure they are cascading info to their business leaders.
Assist in the design, development and delivery of professional development plans and career planning.
Assist in the assessment of current talent and anticipate future talent needs and organizational design, performance management, and sourcing strategies to drive the talent agenda.
Understand the talent needs and identify issues before they affect the business.
Ensure effective succession planning takes place.
Establish and implements competency models for the various positions in the company.
Provide guidance to managers to assess competencies of employees.
Obtain appropriate certifications to acquire and administer assessment instruments and provide feedback to management.
Provides input to Pay & Rewards function and their support of performance improvement.
Continually improve processes to develop Performance Appraisal systems.
Design and develop communications programs to more clearly link averda Group’s management to performance management.
Assist in designing and developing standards for competency assessment for recruitment, development and promotions of employees.
Implement the competency framework system within the averda Group and trains managers to carry out competency assessment, determine employee development needs and provide support.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications & Knowledge
Qualifications
Degree level education in Human Resources or related discipline and likely with additional qualifications such as CIPD, preferably including policy design and implementation.
Minimum 5 years of experience consulting with senior leaders to develop and implement organization-wide talent processes
Strong project management skills – creating charters and project plans to define, align, track and execute the work
Ability to create practical and engaging tools and presentations
Strong communication skills - oral and written
Ability to collaborate with and influence others
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Experience using Excel, SPSS or other programs to analyze data
