Hiring Senior Finance Officer
Location : Dubai, UAE
To lead, organize, & oversee the financial operations of the group. The role ensures accurate financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning while streamlining processes & maintaining cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Develop & implement standardized financial policies, procedures, and systems across all companies
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, & variance analysis for each company
• Consolidate financial statements & reports to provide clear picture of overall group performance
• Conduct in-depth cost & financial analysis to identify inefficiencies & recommend actions to reduce unnecessary expenses across all companies
• Manage day-to-day operations of finance, ensuring timely processing of transactions, payroll, & reconciliations
• Allocate resources, prioritize tasks across companies to meet unique operational needs
• Collaborate with company managers to understand their financial requirements & align finance processes accordingly
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, tax laws(e.g., VAT), industry standards
• Monitor & mitigate financial risks, including receivables management & cash flow optimization
• Coordinate with external auditors & manage audits for group & individual companies
• Supervise & mentor finance staff within the department, Evaluate team performance & recommend training or restructuring to improve efficiency
• Leverage SAP system to streamline reporting, financial management, & decision-making processes
• Ensure efficient use of SAP modules across all companies to meet their specific needs(e.g., financial accounting, inventory management, and project tracking)
• Provide training support to finance staff on SAP functionalities to maximize system capabilities
• Collaborate with SAP consultants or IT team to address system issues, implement upgrades, customize reports as needed
• Act as a financial advisor to team, provide insights on profitability, cost control, & investment opportunities
• Develop & monitor KPIs for finance department & each company Assist in strategic decisions like capital allocation, project feasibility, & business expansion
• Regularly present cost-saving initiatives to management, with data-driven insights on potential savings & ROI
• Collaborate with operational managers to align cost-cutting strategies with business objectives without compromising performance
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/CMA/CFA preferred)
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in multi-business or shared accounting environment, with at least 3 years in senior role
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws & accounting standards(IFRS)
• Proficiency in financial software(SAP) ERP systems
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, & leadership skills
• Effective communication & problem-solving abilities
