Primary PE Teacher - Dubai

Dubai International Academy Emirates Hills is seeking an experienced and passionate Primary PE Teacher to join our dynamic Physical Education team. The ideal candidate must have expertise in Swimming and a broad range of sports, including Netball, Athletics and Football. This role requires previous experience in leading a Swim programme for a division 1 team and a strong commitment to contributing to our extensive extracurricular programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports, with a strong emphasis on swimming.
• Lead and develop the school's swim team, including training and competition preparation for Division 1.
• Organize and participate in extracurricular sports activities and events.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and skill development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Education: A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
• Qualification: PGCE / QTS Full teaching qualification.
• Experience: Proven experience teaching PE, with a strong background in swimming and coaching a swim team.
• Skills: Strong instructional and coaching abilities, excellent communication, and leadership skills.
• Additional Requirements: A willingness to actively participate in the school's extracurricular programs.
