Outpatient Staff Nurses Required in Dubai

King's UAE is looking for a OPD Registered Nurses for our Satellite Clinic in Jumeirah, Marina and Mudon.
Outpatient Care provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in an outpatient facility or clinic. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being as OPD RN care assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. This position reports to Matron OPD.
Key Accountabilities:
Delivers a high standard of evidence based care to patients at KCH.
Adhere to the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) guidelines.
To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the needs of patients on an ongoing basis.
To ensure that all patients and their relatives are updated regularly with accurate information and presented in a sensitive way and one that they understand.
To uphold high standards of care in all departments of KCH.
To actively support the implementation of centre nursing/local strategy and uphold the ethos of the centre.
To maintain patient confidentiality at all times
To have due regard for each patient’s cultural and religious beliefs and to respect each patient’s privacy, dignity, gender and ***uality.
Support patients, caretakers and relatives and where appropriate involve them in the care of the patients and provide health education to promote healthy lifestyles.
Ensure that relevant information regarding patients’ needs and condition are communicated to the MDT and that any instructions are acted upon.
Work flexibly across the organization as required to maintain safe staffing levels or as identified as a personal development need in the appraisal process.
Participate in nursing audits, as required
Report adverse incidents in line with KCH policy for investigation of incidents and to participate in the investigation process.
Maintain good quality legible contemporaneous patient health records in line with KCH policy on health care record keeping.
To be willing to assume a link role for the centre, and ensure all staff are kept up to date on specialist are e.g. infection control, nurse audits etc..

Education:
Bachelor’s in Nursing or equivalent qualification is required
Has worked within an appropriate service environment like Rheumatolgy or Paediatric within the last 2 years
Communication skills – able to relate and communicate with patients and staff at all levels and from different professions. Adapts communication style as necessary and is able to work with and through others
Problem solving skills – able to respond to unexpected issues and provide first line response and to identify appropriate sources of secondary support.
