Avalon Software Services is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Architect to join its Abu Dhabi onsite team. The role is ideal for a seasoned finance systems expert who can lead solution design, own functional architecture, and drive multiple end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead functional architecture and design across Oracle Fusion Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management and associated sub-ledgers.
• Translate complex financial business processes into robust system configurations and mapping documents.
• Drive full lifecycle implementations — requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing (including UAT), deployment and hypercare.
• Provide technical-functional leadership and mentor junior functional consultants; lead design reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Perform gap analysis, prepare functional specifications, and coordinate with technical teams for integrations and customizations.
• Maintain strong stakeholder engagement with business owners and project teams to ensure timely, fit-for-purpose deliveries.
Candidate Profile:
• Strong track record of multiple end-to-end Oracle Fusion Finance implementations.
• Deep functional expertise in finance modules and sub-ledgers with practical process knowledge.
• Proven capability to operate at an architectural level and lead functional teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
