Network Architect Required in Dubai

The Network Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure for the government entity. This includes both the physical and logical components of the network, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure for the government entity.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the network meets the needs of the organization.
Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions as needed.
Monitor the network for performance and security issues, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Develop and maintain documentation for the network, including diagrams, configuration files, and procedures.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in network design and management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in network architecture and design.
Expertise in routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP), switching technologies (e.g. VLANs, STP), and network security (e.g. firewalls, VPNs).
Experience with network management tools (e.g. SNMP, NMS) and monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, SolarWinds).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
CCNA or CCNP certification is preferred.
