MEP Engineer Wanted
Location: UAE | Interior Fit-out Industry
The MEP Engineer is responsible for the design, documentation, and construction oversight of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for fitout projects. The candidate will have a strong understanding of MEP engineering principles and practices, as well as experience with design and build projects.
The terms of your contract will be as follows:
Responsibilities:
• Conducting preliminary design reviews and providing input on project scope and budget
• Preparing detailed design drawings and specifications
• Coordinating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that MEP systems meet project requirements
• Overseeing the construction of MEP systems to ensure that they are installed correctly and meet quality standards
• Preparing commissioning documents and overseeing the commissioning process
• Maintaining project documentation and records
• Checking of works at site
• Managing subcontractors works on site, including MEP, Civils & finishing items
• Assisting in procurement of projects once design has been agreed
• Meeting with clients for site visits to determine client requirements and prepare tender drawings and MEP BOQ
• Managing and assisting with works on numerous projects depending on the workload of the company
• Technical Deliverables:
• Preliminary design reviews and input on project scope and budget
• Detailed design drawings and specifications
• Coordination with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Construction oversight to ensure that MEP systems are installed correctly and meet quality standards
• Commissioning documents and commissioning process oversight
• Project documentation and records
Focus on Quality:
The MEP Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of MEP systems meets or exceeds project requirements. This will involve working with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that systems are designed and installed correctly. The MEP Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining project documentation and records to ensure that the quality of systems can be tracked and verified.
