Junior Accountant Required in Dubai
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Accountant to support our Finance department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for routine accounting tasks, helping to maintain our financial records with precision. This includes processing transactions, preparing reports and budgets, and reconciling bank statements.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for:
· Assist with the preparation of financial statements and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
· Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment.
· Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
· Help with budget preparation and budget forecasts.
· Prepare and execute payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
· Manage journal entries, invoices, etc., and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing.
· Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filings.
· Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics to input and manage financial data effectively; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is considered a strong asset.
· Participate in financial audits and perform administrative tasks as required.

Skills and requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
· Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
· Capable of handling multiple tasks with an eye for detail.
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
