Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant at Affinitas. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and reconciling accounts. The Junior Accountant will support the financial management team and assist in preparing financial statements, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Prior experience in accounting or finance is mandatory (2 years minimum)
Prior experience in HR accounting related calculations a strong plus
Zoho Books knowledge and experience a plus
Russian language spoken and written a strong plus

Responsibilities

Assist the accounts Manager in all areas of financial operations including, but not limited to, data entry, payroll, accounts receivable/payable
Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier's ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
Assist with administrative inquiries and discrepancies
Maintain accurate records and files as instructed and ensure these are up to date
Accurate input of data onto ZOHO
