Junior Accountant Required in Dubai

Multibank Group is looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.

To ensure success, the Junior accountants should be critical thinkers, proficient in math, and accurate with a solid understanding of account and financial reporting principles and practices. Top candidates will have outstanding report writing skills with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.

Job Description:

Prepare Journal Entries or Basic Bookkeeping Skills (going through accounting source documents like receipts invoices/bills/vouchers, etc.)
Prepare Analysis of Accounts as requested
Review, Process, and Prepare Expense Reports
Assist in VAT Compliance Function (VAT Filings) where necessary
Perform bank, intercompany, and other accounts reconciliation

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
Knowledge of IFRS and IAS
Deep knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Attention to detail and Critical Thinker
Competent in using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Accounting Software Packages (Quick books, Oracle Financial, SAP, etc.)
