We are currently Hiring IT Service Desk for our prestigious Banking client based in Dubai.

*This job posting is for a Contract position based in Dubai.

Job Title: IT Service Desk

Job Location: Dubai

Job Type: 12 months and extendable

Responsibilities and Duties

· Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

· Respond to queries either over the phone or Skype or Email

· Write training manuals.

· Training the end users on the latest technologies.

· Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.

· Ask questions to determine nature of problem.

· Walk customer through problem-solving process.

· Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.

· Clean up computers.

· Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.

· Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.

· Install computer peripherals for users.

· Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.

· Gain feedback from customers about computer performance.

· Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.

· Gaining feedback from customers to improve training methods.

· Writing and editing training manuals.

· Running reports and analyzing common complaints and problems

Qualifications and Skills

Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to use.
2-5 years' work experience in a first level IT Help Desk role.
Experience in relevant Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, outlook, mobile devices, VPN technologies.
Experience in Banking Applications and Microsoft platforms (Preferred)
PC repair and troubleshooting skills, Microsoft related certification is preferred.
Service oriented mentality with a strong customer focus.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences.
Expertise in End user technologies
Strong understanding on the technical aspects of mobile devices.
Familiar with data transfers from IOS to Android and vice versa.
Strong understanding of Avaya and Polycom functionalities.
Familiar with latest EUS devices/platforms in the market.
Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
