Information Technology Security Specialist Required in Dubai

Provide Level2 / Level 3 technical support on high priority incidents related to network security to drive triage and problem resolution

· Provide best possible work around for high priority incidents related to security operations

· Manage Network Security devices and its life cycle (Modify, fine-tune, upgrade)

· Firewall devices optimization such as rules consolidation/fine-tuning & periodic firewall rule base review

· Handle and resolve incidents related to security operations within agreed SLA.

· Implement firewall rule modifications requests as per agreed SLA

· Work closely with Security operations lead to ensure smooth delivery of security operations tasks

· Create Standard Operating procedure for the tasks related to security operations

· Implementing changes with respect to security architectural level modifications

· Partake or lead on new security solutions which are being handed over to security operations team

· Successful completion of tasks assigned by security operations lead in the network security area.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Engineer should have minimum 8 plus years of hands on experience in managing and administering security solutions in a large enterprise
· Strong understanding of Cloud security frameworks

· Strong hands on experience in Delivering Network Security Operations in various security products such as Palo Alto Firewalls, Palo Alto SD WAN, FortiGate firewalls, FortiGate SD WAN, IPS, Web application firewalls, Load balancers, Network Router, Switches, etc. In an on prem and Hybrid cloud environment.

· Experience with major cloud service providers.

· Working knowledge on Forcepoint Content filtering software/proxies/Antispam & SMTP Email Gateway or Equivalent solutions

· Use of troubleshooting tools such as, tcpdump, Wireshark, http watch

· In depth knowledge on various Network Security architecture.

· Knowledge and ability to identify the risk on the customer Network Security architecture & suggest solution to identified risk according to the best practices.

· Experience in managing architectural principles, design patterns, technology preferences, skills competencies relates to the security domain etc.

· Should have experience in handling and responding to Security incidents.

· Good understanding of Security incident management (SIM) tools such as Arcsight or Securonix

· Strong presentation skills & Good knowledge of ITIL Framework

· Strong knowledge on Routing & Switching technology.

· Should have basic understanding of Operating systems (Windows, Linux)

Familiarity with DevOps and DevSecOps approach is a plus.
Familiarity with Cloud Native Networking concepts.
Knowledge of container technologies

Ability to work independently and in a team environment with both the local and global Compliance and Legal teams and the information security teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

· Bachelors or Master’s degree in IT or IT related field

· Professional certification in security such as CCNA Network, CCNA Security, CISSP, CCIE, Cloud security frameworks

· Certification or equivalent experience in Security products such as F5, Palo Alto, Fotigate, IPS solution etc.
