Introduction:

Looking for an Information Technology manager for a unique Ecommerce platform for fashion industry of latest exclusive collection from top end brands to customers based in UAE and wider Middle East. The Company is a startup company founded by the one of the oldest business family of UAE.

As an Information Technology manager one of your responsibilities is to build and grow the current platform, build new and establish the Digital Technology presence, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the digital web shop experience, working closely with key stakeholders to identify the optimal technologies, platforms and partners to deliver the experiences required.

Job Description:

• Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.

• Work closely with the Supplier/Customer teams, Technology Organization and key eCommerce and Marketing stakeholders to create, implement and grow an eCommerceB2B capability in the market.

• Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes. As well as having knowledge of 'Blockchain Technology' and the development and implementation of applications using said technologies.

• Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.

• Prepare plans for development and installation of data center according to present and future requirements.

• Monitor all software and hardware products and ensure compliance to Data Center standards and systems. And administer installation and maintenance of organization.

• Perform troubleshoot on all IT systems, identify issues and assist in timely resolution of same.

• Coordination of people, processes, resources, and technologies as needed to deliver on-time and on-budget project results.

• Participate in software procurements, manage work to contract details.

• Effective communication skills and ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with staff, agency executives, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree, qualification or recognition.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field.

• Strong knowledge of IT concepts, techniques, and procedures.

• Possess managerial skills and analytical mind to make quick decisions in the IT department.

• Working experience with various technologies like E-Commerce Industry.

• Strong experience working in system architecture and data governance.

• Outstanding problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills to effectively handle software, hardware, and IT systems issues.

• Strong ability to interact with people from various departments in the organization

• Strong diplomacy, communication, and leadership skills

• Exceptional ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Educational background:

• Hold bachelor's in computer science, information science, programming, software development or a related field.

• MBA in computer science, computer or management information systems, project management, business administration, or a closely related field.
