Information Technology Intern Required in Dubai

The IT Intern will support the Information Technology team in maintaining the hotel's technology infrastructure and providing technical assistance to associates. This internship offers hands-on exposure to hospitality technology systems, troubleshooting, network support, and Marriott technology standards while developing practical skills in a professional hotel environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assist in providing first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
Assist associates with basic technology-related issues and service requests.
Support the IT team in maintaining technology assets and inventory records.
Help ensure all equipment operates efficiently and according to Marriott standards.
Assist with routine system checks, updates, and preventive maintenance activities.
Support user account management and access requests under the guidance of the IT team.
Help maintain documentation related to IT procedures and equipment.
Learn and comply with data security, privacy, and information protection standards.
Participate in IT projects and technology initiatives as assigned.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Interest in networking, information systems, and technology support.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to learn hospitality technology systems.
