About the role

IT Help Desk is responsible for the company’s day-to-day IT support and to build efficient internal IT systems and processes. In this role, you will also be a key contributor to the company’s information security management and work collaboratively across functions to develop solutions that support and grow Tamara’s IT function.

What you will do

Set up new hire computers and ensure appropriate systems access by the first day of employment.
General help desk support for all company IT, including computers, Google Workspace, Slack, and other general productivity programs, networked printers, and video conferencing equipment.
Support for virtual and in-person conferencing environments (webcams, microphones, headsets, conference phones) with knowledge of virtual meeting applications (Google Meet, Zoom, MS Teams).
Administration of key enterprise software tools, including user creation, access management, and identity management.
Manage and procure the company’s tech devices, keeping a firm grasp on inventory.
Lead IT onboarding sessions for new hires.
Implement systems and processes to help build the IT department with a focus on efficiency and data security.
Lead the implementation of new technologies or systems.
Manage third-party vendor relationships, monitoring license needs and usage.
Keep well-documented records of performed activities.
Build IT knowledge bases and reference guides for employees.
What we are looking for

2-3 years of IT experience in a startup environment
A deep understanding of how to support Mac and Windows operating systems, along with Google Workspace, Slack, and other common productivity software.
Experience of managing IT for remote offices
Ability to remotely troubleshoot a variety of end-user issues
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across functions
Thorough documentation abilities
