HR Manager Required in Dubai
We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to be based in JLT, Dubai, United Arab Emirates to join our expanding team. Preferably looking for candidates who can join immediately.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
Manage the recruitment and selection process.
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
Nurture a positive working environment.
Implementing employee benefit and appraisal schemes.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Manages full cycle recruitment, recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Provides support in developing organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to the organization's strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives and operational needs.
In consultation with the Senior management prepare and implement the annual HR Plan to support the overall strategic aims and objectives of the company.
Provide support in developing human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances quarterly.
Understanding the business demographic requirements to ensure effective recruitment to meet the overall business objective and Operational requirements.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Work closely with senior and line managers, providing them expert guidance,
Keep up to date with legal developments and advise management on compliance and risk factors.
Manage investigation, disciplinary, and grievance matters to ensure successful scrutiny if challenged within the Labor Court.
Provide advice and guidance on individual employee relation cases, ensuring that these are well managed and meet the requirements of the Company's policies, best practices, and employment legislation.
Ensure that managers and staff are aware of the policies and procedures and able to operate them effectively.
Provide support to staff on HR issues, as and when required.
Monitor and review the system of performance appraisal and continually develop it as necessary, ensuring that annual appraisals are carried out on time and followed up.
Ensure that staff are informed and updated on the key business and organizational issues.
Gather and analyze market data to measure the competitiveness of the company's compensation and benefits package and make recommendations as appropriate.
Monitor sickness and absence levels and provide monthly management reports.
Review and manage on-boarding and off-boarding processes to ensure Audit and Labour Law Compliance. Manage the information held on the HR database and personnel files to ensure it.
is updated in a timely and accurate manner and complies with any legal or data protection policies.
Requirements:
Proven working experience as HR manager or HR generalist with 3+ years of UAE experience.
Strong knowledge of the UAE labour law and employment visa process.
Fully conversant and up to date with all aspects of employment law and HR best practice
Experience in the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures
Experience in recruitment interviewing and assessment at a senior level.
Ability to work autonomously and flexibly.
Influencing, persuading, coaching, and negotiating skills
People oriented and results driven.
Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Degree in Human Resources or related field.
CIPD qualification desirable.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Discretion and confidentiality.
Must have a strong command of the English language.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Good time management skills.
Pro-active and self-motivated
Good working knowledge of HR systems
Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
