Job Objective

As a member of the Leadership Team, you will oversee the planning, evaluating, directing, managing and implementation of all technology initiatives for TASC. You will ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data, systems, and technology. Additionally champion introduction of new technologies based on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, RPAs, Data analytics with Business Intelligence dashboards.

Job Role

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, which would include:

Provide leadership in technology portfolio for staffing business enablement and innovation, while managing a portfolio of technology projects to meet cost, scope, and schedule constraints.
Develop key performance indicators and SLAs in lieu of requirement of stakeholders and develop policies for internal IT operations to drive attainment of SLAs. Promote strong communication channels between IT and business stakeholders.
Define the enterprise architecture in conjunction with current and future requirements and manage and support delivery of software and hardware operations and projects.
Enable process efficiency of back office and shared services operations on remote site basis and ensuring full IT support is provided to TASC remote offices.
Starting TASC on a journey of information security – IT Certification ISO 270001
Evaluation, deployment and management of current and future applications and supporting software, hardware & IT systems.
Establish IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures; direct continuous improvement of the systems, applications, and procedures to maintain pace with technological progress, aligned to business needs.
Identify key skills and talent gaps within the IT department and support to recruit, train, and retain talent. Identify and manage external vendors in the delivery of contracted work.
Scan, evaluate and implement new technologies to achieve business objectives.
Control budget and report on expenditure.
Manage the vendor relationship with SAP and stay current and up to date with SAP’s Roadmap.
Through service introduction planning and execution, ensure that when new capabilities are introduced into production, they are well communicated, and the IT team is prepared for production support.
Assess and communicate risks associated with IT investments and propose, implement, and control the annual operating and capital budgets, which includes managing expenditures in line with the approved budgets and management of all IT projects, reporting on delivery and costs.
Oversee any other technology related requirements (including network security).

Skills Required

Graduate/Master’s Degree in IT/ Computer Science and/or Engineering.
At least 20+ Years of experience with 5 - 8 years’ in managing and/or directing IT operations, including experience in strategic planning and execution.
Experience in hiring, managing, and retaining a team of talent technology professionals
Demonstrated experience in negotiating with business leaders to drive effectiveness of the IT department.
Proven experience in improving processes and driving efficiency, though various technology efficiencies.
Ability to plan, organize and effectively run a dynamic Information Technology department of a mid-size organization.
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of information technology methods practices and systems.
Knowledge of financial concepts, systems, operations, methodologies, and stands of performance.
Ability to analyze problems and opportunities, identify and evaluate alternatives, and develop sound, effective approaches.
