Finance Administrator Required in Dubai
Dubai British School Jumeriah Park is hiring a Finance Administrator who is available for an immediate start.
The ideal candidate will oversee the school accounting function, ensuring its efficient operation according to agreed procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
Manage the invoicing/ banking/collection of monies using Focus software in line with Taaleem protocols
Manage school invoicing & collections for trips, examinations & other activities
Manage bad debt collection and action plan for recovery
Keep the daily accounts updated so that information can be shared with the Principal and CO Finance team at any given time
Reconciliation of students with class register together with school’s Head of Admissions
Support the Admissions Manager with all necessary support for student enrollment
Support HR with totals CTC budgets plan per employee
Support HR with financial implications of teacher absence
Manage finances of professional development request authorized by the SLT
Assist Principal and Head of Operations in preparation of annual budgets & implement procedures to maintain tight budget control and have available reports for the Principal on the current budget status
Undertake the daily banking reconciliation and associated reports
Other duties as reasonably expected
Person Specification:
Education: Bachelor Degree in Finance /Accounting
Experience: 4 years experience in a similar role
Competencies:
Detailed understanding of managing school finances coupled with the ability to keep managers regularly appraised
Able to follow policy and implement structures from a CO perspective
Attributes:
Calm and reliable
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to be positive yet assertive
