Field IT Support Required in Dubai
In this role, the IT field support will work on maintaining and monitoring the computer systems and networks for our business. He will be tasked with solving complex technical issues and will also collaborate with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
Act as the customer liaison to Engineering, Sales, and Field Engineer teams.
Escalate critical issues and roadblocks to the Service Delivery Manager.
Be a part of the on-call rotation for the assigned product team.
Installation, configuration and support for software and hardware, assemblies and connections at customers and partner’s site.
Provide technical support (e-mail, phone calls, on-site support).
Troubleshoot incidents, debug, and provide problem analysis.
Deliver technical trainings and presentations to partners, customers, and internal departments.
Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).
Install, troubleshoot, and configure Fortinet & Cisco and certain security system like CCTV.
Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
Monitor network performance and integrity.
Leads the day-to-day operational support for server, storage, or network infrastructures.
Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
Familiar with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Teams, and Office Suite 365.
Familiar with Apple MacOS and iPad OS.
Familiar with Google Chromebook.
Technical expertise in solving hardware issues and parts replacement.
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues
Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
6 years of experience in a technical support role.
Certifications are preferred, but not required.
Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.
Willingness to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion.
Analytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions.
Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time.
Driving license required.
