ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our team here at Unique Properties.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Installing desktop/laptop, telephone systems, wireless networks, and peripheral devices in accordance with department standards and needs.
Building, installing, configuring, analyzing, and troubleshooting Windows and Mac OS
Monitoring, maintaining, and updating the status of endpoint security system and windows updates for all the users’ systems in the organization.
Supporting all kinds of L1 and L2 support related to OS and Hardware of laptops and Desktop
Taking ownership and responsibility, troubleshooting and resolving issues of computer/laptops, printers, Wi-Fi, network/IP connection, and other IT-related concerns from employees

REQUIREMENTS

A Good Knowledge of Active Directory
Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills
Excellent time-management
A good knowledge of working concepts of TCP/IP, VLAN, SSID, and devices like Switch, Routers, firewall, Access points, Network Printers, and Scanner.
An awareness of new vulnerabilities and remediation, email spam and phishing, computer virus, and ransomware.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

BSc in Computer Science or relevant field

Any of the below certifications will be an added advantage:

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
CompTIA A+ Certification
HDI – Desktop Support Technician Certification
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
