Summary

The Chief Information Officer is responsible for leading and driving the development, implementation and ongoing management of Information Technology infrastructure, systems, and applications across Finance House Group to support FHG’s strategic objectives.

Major Responsibilities

Set the overall objectives and targets for IT Department.
Develop and monitor implementation of Information Technology policies, procedures and processes.
Lead the formulation of FHG's system wide strategy.
Collaborate with concerned stakeholders to understand business requirements of FHG's various functions and determine technology needs.
Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.
Design and customize technological systems and platforms to deliver the business plans.
Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization.
Recommend purchases of technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with IT providers.
Lead the development, operation and maintenance of reliable Information Technology infrastructure to meet business needs.
Oversee the effective and efficient implementation of IT Projects across FHG along with proper change management.
Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage.
Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.
Lead the development and implementation of Information Technology security approaches and plans as well as disaster readiness and recovery plans.
Responsible for the overall business plans and due diligence process, ensuring compliance by all Business Unit Managers and external advisors (legal, financial, risk operations, etc.)
Lead continuous improvement activities to ensure IT governance, audit and risk management in FHG.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience as CIO or similar managerial role.
Excellent knowledge of IT Systems and infrastructure.
Background in designing / developing IT systems and planning IT implementation.
Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations.
Superior analytical and problem – solving capabilities.
A strong strategic and business mindset.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Qualification

Bachelor Degree such as BSc/BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field;

Experience

Minimum of 12-15 years of work experience in Information Technology with at least 8 years of experience in a managerial role.
