Charge Nurse - Emergency Room
KEY DUTIES:

Coordinates with Nursing Director in providing supervision and direction for the total management of assigned department.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

of two (2) years’ experience as a first-line manager coupled with three (3) years clinical nursing experience required.
knowledge of DHA standards related to health care organizations.
BLS and ACLS provider to follow within 3-6 months.
and technical knowledge and the ability to progressively manage care delivery across the continuum of care.
ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing required; as is the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written word.
be flexible with work scheduling.
discretion and independent action within prescribed limits
licensure as a professional registered nurse.
on the Western-payroll must have successfully completed the three-year Registered Nurse Training Certification and post-registration specialty training program for the assigned specialty.
Required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
