Business Development Manager Required in Dubai
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for representing MindShift Consultants, developing a client base through networking, and supervising sales aimed at generating interest in the organization’s activities.
BDM is therefore expected to plan and recommend a successful strategy to engage potential clients and partners, oversee day-to-day tasks and activities of MindShift Consultants, and report to the Managing Partner.
The BDM is responsible for setting realistic targets for the organization to pursue while enhancing the organization’s presence in the market through the existing accreditation of international certifying bodies.
The BDM will be optimally positioned to present new solutions and services to clients based on market needs and demand; these include, organizing events and conferences, and expanding our brand among stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Identifying and generating new leads with the aim of creating more sales.
Ensuring proper follow-up with potential clients with the help of the Sales team and assistants, to establish rapport and set up meetings to present the organization’s services.
Establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with prospective clients in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business.
Supervise and direct the team to develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective clients and closing deals.
Maintaining excellent customer service and follow-up as well as meeting clients’ needs.
Analyzing the market potential and determining the value of existing and prospective clients to the organization.
Supplying management with oral and written reports on clients’ needs, problems, interests, activities, and potential for new products and services.
Attending conferences, meetings, and training events.
Preparing new courses and services to enhance the business standing in the market.
Working with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs and expectations.
Arranging and participating in internal and external client debriefs, and evaluation of training success.
Attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and providing feedback and information on emerging creative trends.
Presenting to and consult with mid and senior-level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
Submitting weekly progress reports, ensuring data is accurate.
Ensuring that data is accurately entered and managed by the sales team.
Forecasting sales targets and ensuring they are met by the team.
Tracking and recording activity on accounts and helping to close deals to meet these targets.
Working with the staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled in a timely manner.
Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light.
Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.
Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.
Qualifications
3 - 4 years' prior industry-related business development experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
Focused and goal-oriented
