We are the leading partner and distributor in the GCC for prominent design brands; FEST Amsterdam, Ferm Living, 101 Copenhagen, NORR11 & many more. We have expanded our online presence with a newly renovated Al – Quoz 1 based store, open 7 days a week.

What we are looking for

We are a small yet growing start-up with an all-women team. We are looking for a reliable, passionate, proactive and talented business development manager to join our team for a full-time position. The position is full-time in our office in Dubai, UAE and you should be present already in the UAE for an interview. Work Remotely won't be accepted.

What You Will be doing

Identifying key account and partnership opportunities with new clients and building on existing substantial clients base within the retail and hospitality industry across the UAE
Building annual business plan and KPIs: identifying the key levers to grow the monthly reporting on performance. Deep dive analysis on industry trends and business opportunities in the retail and hospitality sectors
Developing and managing a strategic network to acquire new clients and business relations via cold-calling, networking, e-mails and marketing.
Performing background research on customer accounts, prospects, competitors, and industry trends and creating customer insights
Setting up a minimum of 10 face-to-face appointments a week
Updating leads and prospects interaction in the CRM on a daily basis
Developing a network of target retailers to distribute the brands we represent on a b2b basis
Work on price lists and pitch material and presentations with the marketing team
Anticipating risks and opportunities by channel
Working closely with the sales team to help identifying leads
Prioritizing development plan in coordination with sales, marketing and sourcing team to maximize resources and sales potential so that project deliverables are cohesive and in line with the business goals and objectives

About You

Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
English is a must, Arabic is a strong advantage
Should be very knowledgeable of how the industry operates from receiving a brief to “closing deals” and to the final execution
Strong knowledge of the UAE and GCC design and hospitality market with a previous experience in Saudi Arabia being a strong advantage
Must be very self-motivated, and a “hands-on” person with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
A minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, distributor management, key account management, or Interior Design
A self-starter, goal setting mentality with an established skill-set in problem-solving and relationships
Highly organized and committed to meeting deadlines
Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
Rigorous, concise, organized, result-oriented and team player
Flexibility to work outside of office hours when required for social / networking events.

Flexible compensation plan: we offer a fixed + variable commission-based salary as well as company equity, visa, medical insurance + annual flight ticket.
