Banking Operations Specialist Required in Dubai

The client is in the banking industry and is now looking to hire a Banking Operations Specialist for their team at Abu Dhabi.

Role: Outsourced- 12 Months-Renewable

Work Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Responsibilities :

- Ensure that highest standard of customer service is provided to all customers and work with SPC staff to resolve any issues or account problems

- Performance routine duties to maintain & utilize current knowledge on all regulations pertaining to the Central Operations

- Support payment operations

- Settlement and transaction reconcilement

- Perform monitoring for excessive activity, and escalate to key stakeholders as required

- Onboard new Participants on the Instant Payments Platform (IPP) and provide customer support

- Facilitate participants enrolling in new services in the payments platform

- Understand procedures to be followed in the case of fraud or other emergency

- Demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of and adherence to operational policies and applicable compliance regulations as they relate to the specific job duties assigned

- Demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of your duties and responsibilities as it relates to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML), Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations (OFAC) and CLIENT Anti-Money Laundering Legislation. This includes participating in any required training and promptly complying with all reporting requirements

Requirement:

- Banking / Finance domain experience

- 2 years of relevant bank operations and new accounts experience

- High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent organizational skills

- Ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy

- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks while working in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency with personal computers and related software
