Accounts Payable Associate - Dubai

NEFCO is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join its remote team, reporting directly to the AP Associate Manager. This role focuses on processing payments for a designated group of vendors while fostering effective communication and collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices using a 3-way match or appropriate approvals, applying correct coding to ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements accurately and maintain healthy relationships with suppliers.
• Handle internal and external inquiries, resolving issues tied to invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
• Investigate and clear aged accounts payable, unbilled inventory, and other discrepancies.
• Maintain professional, clear communication via phone and email with stakeholders.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Carry out various ad hoc responsibilities as assigned.
• Offer team support across other departments when needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, procedures, and confidentiality policies.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting environment with exposure to automated systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred:
• An active interest in accounting practices.
• Experience using Epicor Eclipse software.
