Accountant Required in Dubai

We are partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit an experienced Accountant to join its Finance team in Dubai.
This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with a strong background in law firms or professional services, who can manage financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger reconciliations and month-end closing.
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Oversee cash flow reporting, payroll processing, and expense reimbursements.
Support audit processes, tax compliance, and internal financial controls.
Assist with timekeeper setups, billing-related activities, and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, VAT regulations, and legal accounting requirements.

Requirements
6–7 years of accounting experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
Strong understanding of legal accounting practices, including trust accounting and time-based billing.
Proficiency in 3E accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Knowledge of UAE/GCC VAT regulations and financial compliance requirements.
Familiarity with SRA Accounts Rules would be advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
Candidates with previous law firm accounting experience will be highly preferred.
