Accountant Required in Dubai

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping

Assist in recording daily financial transactions.

Update ledgers, journals, and other accounting records.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of all entries.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Process supplier invoices and customer payments.

Reconcile accounts to ensure payments are accurate and on time.

Follow up on outstanding balances and manage payment schedules.

Bank Reconciliation

Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.

Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank and company records.

Financial Reporting

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Support the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Expense Management

Review employee expenses and validate all supporting documents.

Ensure expenses follow company policies and accounting standards.

Audit Support

Assist in gathering documents for internal and external audits.

Maintain organized records for quick retrieval.

General Accounting Support

Help with budgeting and forecasting tasks.

Maintain confidentiality of financial data at all times.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, ERP).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

Previous internship or experience in an accounting role.

Understanding of tax procedures and financial regulations.

Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities.
