Accountant Required in Dubai
PXGEO is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will be involved in ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, identifying areas for process improvement, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:

Maintain the assets register (PPE and Intangible)
Tracking spending on CAPEX project
Liaise with budget owners in various departments to analyze CAPEX spending
Perform general ledger reconciliation.
Assist the Financial Controller with CAPEX forecast
Analysis of actual vs budget
Vendor invoice processing
Process bank payments
Prepares bank reconciliation statement.
Assists in gathering the audit evidence for substantive testing for the audits of the Group and Subsidiaries
Prepares Transfer Pricing invoices and posts entries on the system
Prepares excel files for workings as directed.
Ad-hoc tasks as required.
Assist in recording accounting transactions (journal entries) on the bookkeeping system.
Reconciles intercompany receivables and payables accounts and prepares the intercompany matrix on a monthly basis
Supports the monthly closing process.
Distributes invoices in the D365 system.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, commerce or business-related field
Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting or reporting roles
Experience in accounts payable is an advantage
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make recommendations
Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience with PowerBI is a plus
Experience with D365 system is an advantage
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
