Accountant - Dubai

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a construction or contracting environment, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting practices. Fluency in English and completion of a university education in English are required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update accounting records and documentation accurately
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely manner
• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and verify the accuracy of financial transactions
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments efficiently
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations
• Coordinate and support external audits and internal reviews
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (taught in English)
• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in construction or contracting in the UAE or GCC
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
